Scoring weights are published before testing begins and before any affiliate programme is joined for that category. Products with no affiliate programme are recommended whenever they are the better answer, and several already are. No vendor has ever paid for placement, for a ranking, or to have a competitor excluded, and there is no sponsored tier.
Where the disclosure appears
In the footer of every page, and again inside any guide that carries affiliate links. If you ever find a commercial link on this site that is not disclosed, that is a mistake and we want to know.
